the news i have been waiting for, for months have finally arrived. Boss told me that papa bear wants to meet me at 2.30pm today. And i was like... shit! Am i in trouble? Errr, punctuality problems perhaps? Or they giving me the boot?So with cockroaches and worms in my tummy, i knocked on papa bear's door and went in.
And so it began.
He informed me of the changes that he has promised and informed me of the upcoming situation.
DT will be transferred officially over to my department as the Dept Head on 1st of April. And with that, i will be promoted to the A&E Executive. The post that i have been waiting to get for the past few months is finally mine. And i know i deserve it. My hardwork, my hair tearing sessions, my relapse to nail biting is all worth it. And they did increase the ka-ching abit. Okielah. Acceptable.. for now.
Alhamdullilah. I am really thankful for this promotion and my future boss is a dear too. Great, hardworking and funny man with the knowledge and skills of F&B, we are gonna rock the house soon.
And yeah, i asked daddy to treat me to dinner today. Cos i am broke.
