mothering sundae day

today is UK's mothering sundae and i called in 2 nail artists to the club to pamper the mums silly. Not well to go to work today, left the co-ordinating to my part-time AE coordinator.

me and hubs left home at 5pm to go get some toiletries. we decided on vivo city as my crap-tree and evil-lyn card was ready for collection.

but in the end as usual, things that were planned din't quite go how we planned. we ended up watching the newest spoof, Meet the Spartans. Quite lame but if you are in need of a good laff, this movie will sorta work for you.

being at vivo city, we wasted no time in having our fish soup with rice before rushing to catch the movie.

and.. becoz of the movie, we ended up with GIANT closed and our toiletries still not purchased.

but of course, what's vivo without some shopping. i recalled seeing an advert several days ago about a Martina Pink document bag and sunday bag going less than half the price. Dragging hubs to TANGS, i headed straight for the handbag department. After trying to explain to the promoter for a good 3 minutes about the bags i was looking for, she finally realised what i was talking about.

there stood the bags, 10 steps away from me. When i first saw the advert, i so wanted the document bag ONLY. However, after seeing the other bag, with a heavy heart (honest!), i decided to purchse it as well. My budget for shoping today was $50 and i hit the target right on.

Hubs and i ended our Sunday at the Royal Prata Shop, where their service was far from charming. But we had a good, no fantastic time, talking about our past.
