hazardous weekend

when i finally have a job that does not require me to work on weekends, i end up getting a viral infection and being confined to the house. which leaves me rotting on the bed and sofa yet again.

i started to do a lil of my project work today gathering news articles of Mr EndWar Ibrahim and hi by-elections. We have to collect quite a number of articles from ST and NST and get an in depth analysis of the content for my MMR module (Mass Murder Research).

Aniways, rotting on the sofa yesterday, i manged to tune in to BBC and watch Senator Obama's speech in Denver. The whole set up was amazing, almost theatrical with explosions of confetti (star shaped, no less!) in you guessed it, red, white and blue! And a stupendous fireworks display too! But what connected me to it all was his speech. He delivered it brilliantly and i have so much of faith in his promises to his people. For once, i would like to be an Ameirican, living my dreams.

Obama delivered his speech with so much ferocity, determination and confidence. Spectators were spell bound by his words, his sentences, his phrases from start to finish. If there is one guy i would like to make the president of any country, it would be him. Best of luck dude. You deserve to be at the top, eventhough you don't fall in to the same "pedigree". I have faith in you.

Closer to home: I rebonded my hair today. Thank you Hubby!
