We do not need a lie detector, nor an IQ of a genius to tell why someone is reacting the way they are and if they are telling you the truth. (Sometimes, we really cant cover our lies due to modern technology you know - there are such thing as chat logs, history of pages visited, communication logs etc) Why they smile, or why they frown, or how they walk out of a room or listen intently to you, how they make eye contact when speaking or how they just don't bother and look at another direction (perhaps they really are listening!)
Its like when i met YP this afternoon at the canteen, the moment she came to my table, i immediately placed my heads in between my books, avoided eye contact and answered her questions nonchalantly. So im sure she gets the picture. Or of how i jumped in my knickers when hubby surprised me on my birthday - i was genuinely surprised, grateful and happy with what happened.
Some people are like open books, you meet them, talk to them a few times, spent some time reading their body language and you know just about everything about how this particular person reacts, their characters, likes and dislikes, attitudes etc.
But a big number of people arent open books. They hide behind the chapters and you have to read in between the lines to really know them well. But.. after reading for many years, isnt it ridiculous that you still cant understand the story?!
you're either too stupid or too naive in believing the story as how it is written, without considering to read in depth and understand the true meaning of the book and what message it is trying to get across... especially if its a book or topic you are supposedly very interested in.
